We have Had Enough Misfortunes For A Whole Year.

Last month was full of misfortunes for my family. My brother’s wife ran away with their three year old daughter after a domestic quarrel. My brother has been supporting her ever since she was born. He was quite upset because for these three years, he has become very fond of her. He says it was unfair that his wife took the girl with her even after knowing how well they were getting along. He asked me to check out for him his rights as far as his daughter is concerned. I have been looking through this list of rights and the column that comes closest to his predicament is rights of absent fathers. Under these rights, he has a right to support his daughter just as he did before, and to see her as often as possible. I hope he will like what I have found. On the other hand, my sister has been a single parent for her son of two years, after the man who made her pregnant left the town for unknown destination. He has never bothered to look for her or to visit his son either. She has been through many financial difficulties lately, therefore she has resolved to look for help under rights as a single parent. Good thing about these rights is that there are provisions for financial support made to assist the parent by Child Care. Also, she is entitled to help and assistance if required as well as financial assistance from the other parent. She has the right to her sons custody as well. With all these rights, I wish my brother and sister all the best in their pursuit of justice.
