Television Today

Television has been changing at a rapid pace since it was invented over fifty years ago. Most people cannot even remember not having a television in their house. Most people have more than one television in their house, and sometimes you can find a tv in every room of some people’s houses. There is nothing wrong or unusual with this though. Television has become more than a hobby or just something to do that will pass the time by for you, it is a way to also learn and get updates on news from all over the world.

Years ago their were only a handful of channels that people who liked to watch tv had to choose from. There were nowhere near the amount of channels that people have to choose from today. Network television has become one of the biggest industries in the world, and now cable tv competes with the networks on a regular basis.

Movie Stars in the United States are looked at quite a bit differently than they were looked at decades ago when they were not followed and pictured by the media no matter where they may be or no matter where they may be going. The media have made it a priority to find out everything that there is to know about the people that we see in out favorite movies and our favorite new tv shows. This has formed a gap between the famous people in this country and the regular people that watch these people on television.
