I started writing at university, doing a BA (hons) in English Literature, I loved the process of writing then, I got totally hooked. It opened up a whole world for me as I had gone from school  to work. I always loved films and the visceral experience of watching them.

I read gothic novels, medieval, romantic poetry and found I was actually quite good at writing, analytical writing but secretly, I  really wanted to write my own material. I started reading Anais Nin and that was it, she has so inspired me, I had to, I was compelled…………………………..

I stopped smoking and started typing this erotic story, what joy, it was such a vent, such a buzz, creating characters, their world was my world and i loved it passionately. Like music, this was my music, my lyrics. I was stuck in a ‘boring’ relationship and this was a vent for my frustration, a way out of emotional frustration, but also for my creativity, creating something that gave me what I needed.

 

The imagination is an amazing thing. Looking outward is what it’s all about for me. I lived in my own little world for a few weeks whilst writing and I was in heaven, making myself feel high whilst reading and writing it.

I walked into the showroom, it was next to a petrol station, I parked up and walked in.  ‘Can you look at my car’ I said,’ There’s a warning light that’s come on and it’s making a rattling noise underneath, it happens when I turn corners. I always bring my car to you guys.”

 

This commanding man, tall, slim and dark, Mediterranean looking, intensely attractive, immediately came to look at the car. I noticed his dark brown eyes had a fire in them. His pupils were dilated when he looked at me, and my stomach lurched. He opened the car door and looked at the light.
