What’s new in entertainment and technology today? 3D technology is the newest in entertainment technology. As you read this information, Sony, Samsung, LG, Philips and Mitsubishi are planning their advertising campaigns for the introduction of their line of 3D televisions and networks like CBS and NBC are preparing for vivid 3D broadcasting. If you want to experience this technology at its best, you will need a pair of 3D Glasses which you can now buy online.
3D technology uses more than one kind of techniques to create the three dimensional field. The most common 3D display technologies include anaglyphic, polarization, alternate frame sequencing and autostereoscopic. Anaglyphic 3D requires red-cyan glasses, Polarization 3D requires polarized glasses, Alernate frame sequencing requires active shutter glasses or headgear and autostereoscopic requires no 3D Glasses or headgear to view it in 3D format.
Televisions with 3D technology can also run in 2D mode. In 3D mode, the television, along with LCD 3D shutter glasses tells which eye sees various images to bring them to life and making them stereoscopic (as if they are coming out of the screen). You must have a good pair of 3D Glasses for anything 3D vision except for autostereoscopic type of 3D. There are several different kinds of glasses you can buy for 3D vision.
- Anaglyph – These are used for anaglyph art like you see in comics, cartoons, prints, websites online, movies and games. You will recognize these with the red and blue or red and green lenses.
- Polarized – These are used for laser shows, ride simulators, corporate presentations, multimedia displays, and special movies with polarized 3D graphics. The lenses look like those of sunglasses.
- Pulfrich – These are especially designed for watching certain computer displays, video and broadcast television. They have one sunglasses-like lens (dark) and one clear lens.
- Decoders – These are for decoding secret messages, games, sweepstakes and contests. The lenses are all one color like red or blue.
- Hand Held Viewers – These can be used for any of the above types of 3D. They just have no temple stems.
- Bind-ins – You might see these in a promotional pack from a direct snail mail promotion.
- Custom – You can have your own 3D Glasses custom made from templates, colors and designs for any kind of promotional campaign or fundraiser.
- Proview Professional – These are high quality sunglasses-like glasses with 3D lenses on flexible nylon frames.
- Proview Clip-Ons – As with the above glasses, these are high quality glasses used for 3D viewing that clip on to a pair of regular glasses.
No matter why you need 3D Glasses, you can buy just what you want online at a great price and use them for promotional materials or any other fun event.
